How to play

The goal

Hold three cards worth as close to 31 as you can. On your turn, draw from the deck or take the top of the discard pile, then discard one card. You always keep three.

Scoring

Only cards of the same suit add together. Aces are worth 11; 10s and face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10; number cards are worth their face value. Your score is your best single suit.

A
10
J
= 31
The best hand: an Ace (11) and two 10-value cards, all one suit. A dealt 31 wins the round instantly (a blitz).
8
8
8
= 30.5
Three of a kind always scores 30.5. Suits don't matter for a matched set.
K
Q
10
= 30
Three 10-value cards in one suit. 10, J, Q and K each count as 10.
K
9
4
= 19
Only the matching suits count. The two hearts add to 19; the off-suit 4♠ scores nothing.
7
6
2
= 15
Number cards count their face value: 7 + 6 + 2 of clubs = 15.

Knocking & winning

When you think your hand won't be the lowest, knock instead of drawing. Everyone else takes one more turn, then all hands are revealed.

The lowest hand each round loses a life, including the knocker if they guessed wrong. Lose every life and you're out; the last player standing wins.
