Bryan Jones
Bryan Jones is the creator of Imposter and more than 25 digital games at Game On Family, which have been played more than 40 million times. He designs and programs his games himself, from the rules and word engines to pass-and-play and online multiplayer.
Games have been part of Bryan's life for as long as he can remember. He started playing backgammon with his dad around age five and grew up playing everything from checkers and Liar's Dice to card games and backyard competitions. He later studied game theory at UCLA, developing a deeper understanding of rules, incentives, strategy, and how people make decisions within a game.
Those two backgrounds, a lifetime spent playing games and a formal study of how games and strategic decisions work, now come together in the games Bryan creates. He continues to refine his games based on how people actually play them and what players tell him, using that feedback to improve everything from the rules and difficulty to player interaction and replayability.
